Lily Lake

This municipally owned property offers residents and visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with direct access to Lily Lake and a network of scenic walking trails surrounded by native forest and wildlife.
Riverside Park
Located along the scenic Annapolis River, Riverside Park is one of Middleton’s most popular outdoor destinations. This beautiful green space features a public boat launch, walking trails, and plenty of open space to relax and enjoy the view. The park is a favourite spot for paddlers, picnickers, and families looking to spend time by the water.
With its easy river access and peaceful surroundings, Riverside Park connects the community to the natural beauty of the Annapolis Valley. The Town of Middleton continues to enhance the park with seasonal programming, special events, and improvements that encourage residents and visitors alike to explore, play, and unwind by the riverside.
Rotary Raceway Park
Rotary Raceway Park is a vibrant community recreation area located in the heart of Middleton. Home to:

Originally developed through a partnership with the Middleton Rotary Club, the park continues to reflect the community spirit that built it. Today, Rotary Raceway Park hosts everything from soccer games to summer programs, offering an active and welcoming space for recreation, connection, and play.

Centennial Park
Centennial Park is a charming green space located in downtown Middleton, offering a peaceful setting for relaxation and community gatherings. With its beautiful landscape, mature trees, benches, and open lawns, the park provides a quiet retreat in the heart of town. The Park also features a splash pad, covered gazebo area.
Centrally located near local shops and amenities, it serves as a welcoming spot for residents and visitors to enjoy a picnic, attend small community events, or simply take a break and enjoy the outdoors.

Wetland Trail
The Wetland Trail is one of Middleton’s most serene and scenic walking routes, offering visitors a chance to experience a protected Wetland area up close. Winding through the peaceful wetland ecosystem, the trail features boardwalk sections, interpretive signage, and opportunities for birdwatching and photography.
This accessible trail highlights the importance of Middleton’s natural habitats and serves as a quiet escape for walkers, runners, and nature enthusiasts. The Wetland Trail connects recreation with conservation - inviting everyone to slow down, explore, and appreciate the town’s rich natural environment.

Harvest Moon Trail
Stretching through the heart of the Annapolis Valley, the Harvest Moon Trail is a stunning multi-use trail that connects communities from Annapolis Royal to Grand Pré—passing right through the Town of Middleton. Following the former rail line, the trail offers scenic views of farmland, forests, and rivers, making it a favourite route for walking, running, and cycling.
