Heart Run & Century Ride
Each summer, Middleton hosts the Heart Run - a welcoming community road-race for runners of all levels. Participants can choose from a 5 km, 10 km, or half-marathon course, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Annapolis Valley. The run begins and ends at Rotary Park and brings together locals and visitors alike for a fun, healthy, and community-spirited morning.
On the Sunday following the Heart Run, the Century Ride invites cyclists of all ages and experience levels to explore the beautiful Annapolis Valley. Starting at Rotary Raceway Park in Middleton, riders can pick from multiple distances - from 25 km all the way up to a full century (160 km) - making it perfect whether you’re new to road biking or a seasoned rider. The route winds through charming towns like Bridgetown and Annapolis Royal, with food and refreshment stops along the way. The day wraps up with a post-ride community chicken dinner, giving riders a chance to relax and celebrate together.

Witch Walk
Every October, Middleton’s streets come alive with magic during the annual Witch Walk - a whimsical community parade where costumes, creativity, and spooky fun are encouraged! Families, local groups, and spirited witches of all ages gather downtown to strut, cackle, and celebrate the Halloween season together before enjoying activities, music, and treats at Centennial Park.
